Welcome to my site

Evidence of my geekiness...

26:10:08: Summer Uploads

Hoookay, changed things about in my portfolio a little - in preparation for Masters work. Have also added some projects developed over the summer, some of which are non 3D. My fav is 'Tales of the Assbringer', a world of warcraft comic I made for a relative. Hope you like :D

19.10.08: Back on track

Wow, have I really been offline for that long?! After 6 months of no Internet I am reconnected to the outsite world. Whilst away I have been working and saving so that I could come here, to Bournemouth University, to take a Masters in 3D Computer Animation. I am very excited to be here, and have met so many artistic and inspirational people in the last two weeks! I hope the year continues to be as good.

I have decided to add a Review section to my site, where I will (hopefully) submit some thoughts on games and films I have been watching. This is mainly a critical analysis exercise for myself as I progress through my course. I need to develop a greater understanding of the different mediums I enjoy so that hopefully one day I can be a part of the creative process. Sounds niave I know, but I think its a start! Anyway, I'm definately back on track, and buzzing from the potential of being part of the NCCA!

08.03.08: A few adjustments

I have tweaked the site a bit, reduced some image sizes and played around with the portfolio to make it a little nicer (hopefully). I have also uploaded some images and bits on my Karlarn project. Enjoy!

08.11.07: Life Art Classes

image link example

Recently I have been going to some life art evening classes with a friend, to try and get my drawing skills up to scratch, and to also study anatomy, which is something I have very little experience with. I have added a new section for this on the site so that I can display my work, and hopefully review any improvements made over time.

I have wanted to do this for sometime now, and for the life of me I cannot see why I didn't take this up before. I really enjoy the sessions, hightened by meetin up with friends and having a good old chat. The tutor is relentless but very accurate in her assessments. The class is also full of very talented and inspirational artists, I just can't wait until next tuesday!

06.11.07: A new look

Yep I have updated the look of my website, I hope you like. I am using a template found on the net, the credits of which can be found at the bottom of the page. Many thanks to Andreas for a neat design.

13.05.07: Internet browsers are annoying

Urgh. Seriously now, trying to code a website for all the different browers out there is a right pain in the bum. Since this is my first website I hope you can forgive me! This site works best in firefox, but I have even found difference when running firefox from a windows machine... I will fix this, I promise! So to those who find text in random places and poor formating - I apologise. Also if there is anything about the site you think could be improved, please let me know :D

31.03.07: Welcome!

Welcome to my corner of the net! I am currently a student of Computer Visualisation and games a London Metropolitan University. I am in my 3rd and final year, working on my major project and trying to organise Digital Escape: our graduate show. Hectic stuff!

During my degree I have chosen to specialise in 3D modeling and Animation for games. I particularly enjoy character desig as there is a lot of pleasure in making a concept become an apparent living being. I have also been exposed to other aspect of the game development pipeline, particularly programming although its safe to say that scripting is not my main strength

Now that I am in the winter of my degree I have the daunting prospect of trying to get myself into my industry of choice which is the main reason for this website. So to all you potential employers who have stumbled across my site, please hav a look at my CV and my Portfolio. I hope you like what you see!

31.03.07: Website goes live!

Well here is my website so far! An attempt at me to get myself out there, a tiny drop in the vast sea that is the Internet. f you have managed to find yourself here, hello and welcome... Things are still under construction so if you would like o leave some feed back that would really help me out.
